The Royal Commission will issue two formal calls for submissions. These will include guiding questions to support the Commission’s inquiries.
- The first call for submissions is now open
- The second call for submissions will be issued by early March 2023.
General submissions to the Royal Commission can also be lodged at any time up until 19 May 2023.
How will my submission be used?
Submissions received by the Royal Commission will be considered by policy and legal staff assisting the Royal Commission, and used to inform the Commission's work.
The Royal Commission will not contact everyone who makes a submission, but will ensure that all submissions are documented and reviewed.
Will my submission be published?
Formal submissions to Royal Commissions are usually published. This can include submissions, or excerpts of submissions, in the interim or final reports, as well as on the website.
If you want all or part of your submission to be treated as confidential, make sure to indicate this in the submission form.
Please note that the Commission reserves the right to release and make use of any written submissions made during the course of the Commission, where it deems this to be appropriate. You will be contacted prior to any such use or publication.
